Having run Wasted State Records since 2008, some of the most common things I’ve been asked about are PPL, PRS and royalties in general. This has led to the setup of Wasted State Publishing.
As every band and artist is different, there are no one size fits all solutions here, everything will be bespoke and made to measure depending on what your requirements are.
With a great deal of things in the music industry, it is possible for you to deal with many of these things yourself and avoid giving companies a cut of your royalties. What I aim to do is make things easier for artists by taking on a bulk of the boring administration involved and dealing with any issues or claims on your behalf, as well as working with media partners to secure TV Syncs and other publishing opportunities.
