Bacchus Baracus formed in 2010 over a mutual love of beer, joints, whisky, fuzz pedals and all that’s groovy and down tuned. Based in Glasgow, they recorded a 4 song e.p. Growler and released it themselves, before it’s digital re-release through Wasted State Records at the tail end of 2012. During this time they played all round Scotland building up a loyal following wherever they went.
In 2012 Bacchus Baracus recorded their first album, Tales of Worries, Woes and Whatever, and signed to Wasted State Records in the summer of the same year. As well as recording their first full length, the band also took to the stage with growing frequency as well as supports with Bastards of the Skies, Jucifer, Black Sun, Kylesa, Pentagram & Gentleman’s Pistols to name a few.
2013 started with them opening at the legendary King Tut’s alongside Orange Goblin. With a tour in on the way to support the albums’ release expect to see Bacchus Baracus at a venue near you soon!
Tales Of Worries, Woes and Whatever was released through Wasted State Records on the 1st of April 2013 on limited edition blue vinyl (with a download code of course!) as well as digitally at all the usual outlets.
